As a young child she was diagnosed with a learning disability, Kelly was not able to read until 8th grade. Many who knew her never believed she would graduate from high school- she went on to graduate from University with a Masters degree and to accomplish much more. Her experience shows turning trials into triumphs through faith, belief in ourselves, perseverance and support from caring people.
Kelly lives in Reno Nevada with he husband Dan and their dog Soldier, born and raised in Buffalo, New York she spent 3 years in Alberta Canada where she now considers her second home
Kelly was educated in Western New York at; Niagara County Community College, Canisius College and the University of New York in Buffalo. She has a permanent teaching licence from New York. Kelly has also received certifications in; Train the Trainer, Life Coaching and Happiness Coaching and continues to educate herself.
Kelly has trained and taught in many different venues including; Niagara Falls High School, ITT Technical Institute, community education, continuing education, religious education, not-for-profits, Hospital Organization, Women’s groups, Seniors Organizations, Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC), Morrison University, University of Nevada at Reno (UNR)...etc
Kelly has given Speeches and Presentations at several organizations including: Eldorado Resorts, SPCA of Northern Nevada, Stop the Violence, Church Women United, The Joan A. Male Family Support Center, Family and Children's Services of Niagara Inc., Women for Human Rights & Dignity Inc....etc
Currently a member of Toastmasters where she’s won several awards for her speeches, Kelly is writing 2 books and volunteering at SCORE.
